Dr. Chow Fu Hung, Michael, is currently a School Development Officer of QSIP and is a seasoned Chinese education professional. During his time at QSIP, he has provided professional support for the development of Chinese language departments in a large number of schools, focusing on curriculum and pedagogy development, as well as enhancing assessment literacy. He has also designed and coordinated improvement initiatives for individual schools under the philosophy of comprehensive school improvement and has conducted workshops for the entire teaching staff and middle-level leaders to facilitate teacher professional development within the school.
Dr. Chow obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in his early years and specialised in Chinese language teaching. He later earned a Master’s degree in Education and a Doctorate in Education, which has provided him with a strong theoretical foundation in curriculum development.
Prior to joining QSIP, Dr. Chow served as a secondary school principal, vice principal, Head of Curriculum Development, and Head of the Chinese Department.
