  • Pankaj Tripathi's father could not buy a tractor. This changed his life and Bollywood got one of its brilliant actors

Pankaj Tripathi’s rise to fame is nothing short of inspiring. Today, he is regarded as one of Bollywood's most talented and versatile actors. However, his journey from a small village in Bihar to the bustling streets of Mumbai was far from easy. What’s even more remarkable is how an unmet dream—one that many might consider trivial—set him on the path to becoming an actor.

    Pankaj Tripathi’s Tractor Dream

Growing up in a modest farmer’s family, Pankaj Tripathi harbored a simple but significant wish during his younger years: to own a tractor. “When I was younger, I dreamt of owning a tractor. It was something I felt I needed, especially because my father couldn’t afford it,” Pankaj shared in a 2019 interview for a cultural programme. For him, the tractor symbolized stability, independence, and the possibility of a life grounded in farming. But life had different plans.

As a young boy, Pankaj's family faced significant financial struggles. Despite his father’s efforts, they couldn't afford the tractor, a setback that would unknowingly alter the course of his life. Reflecting on this, Pankaj remarked, “If I had gotten a tractor, I would have been farming today.
